daDA Dreams

Last night's audience was just delightful. Practically packed and powerfully playful. Felt connected in conversation on and off stage. Topped off the night with guerrilla marketing then a dash of gin and a smidge of jameson with her good friends the Luckys and Xena.

Strange dreams of artists and reviews - wake up and find that subconscious has reached the top layer.

Minneapolis has been to good to me.

Cynical and Mad in the Best Way

by Miranda Mier on August 5, 2017

A one-man show hinging on audience participation can be so easy to botch, but Dame daDA clearly knows what she is doing and has for some time. I absolutely adored Hamilton's structure, attitude, and sense of humor throughout the show, and would recommend it to anyone, sight unseen. Discussions like the ones about asking women to smile and the nature of art will stick with me for a while.

Don't be scared

Yes, you will have the opportunity to participate, and laugh, and think about how you think.

Dame Dada

by Lydia McAnerney on August 4, 2017

Funny, satirical, entertaining and fast moving. Totally enjoyable. I loved her humor and honesty. One to see.

And my absolute favorite - delivered with a tender insightfulness: "I didn't know what I was watching, but I loved it." Ed, from the street

Show #3 today at Ritz Studio Theatre 2:30pm.
